There are a few different ways to make your way to the Valley of the Seven Stars, whether you plan to drive, take the train, or fly into a nearby airport. The festival site is located approximately 40 miles from Charlottesville, about a 45-minute drive, and roughly 92 miles from Richmond, about 1 hour and 45 minutes away.Please see the options below for more information on planning your trip and arriving on-site.

The festival site address for GPS purposes is 1510 Diggs Mountain Road, Arrington, VA 22922. During peak ingress times, certain road closures and traffic patterns will be in place to help reduce traffic impacts on the local community and keep arrival operations running smoothly.

Detailed driving and arrival instructions will be emailed to festivalgoers the week of the event.

Charlottesville Albemarie Airport (CHO): 45 miles

Once you arrive onsite, everything will be within close proximity. For hotel package purchasers, roundtrip shuttles will be available from each hotel to the festival grounds on the day of each performance. Please note: shuttles will not be available for campers or day-goers. 

Guests can also utilize Ubers and other local transportation options as needed.

Charlottesville, VA (CVS): 40 miles

Staunton, VA (STA): 47 miles

To help ensure a smooth and efficient entry experience, please have your festival wristband securely fastened, your photo ID readily available, and your parking or camping decal properly placed on the inside of the driver’s side windshield before arrival.

If you are arriving on Thursday, every person in the vehicle must present their individual QR code for entry, so please have those pulled up and ready to help speed up the process. 

If you plan to camp next to friends, you must arrive together, as spaces cannot be held or saved for vehicles arriving later. If you want to arrive at any time and camp with your friends, please purchase a group camping space.

Thursday Early Arrival Add-on

The Early Arrival Add-On lets you access the campground early, starting Thursday, October 8th, at 10:00 AM, before regular entry begins at 8:00 AM on Friday, October 10th. This add-on is required per person, so everyone in the car must have an Early Arrival Add-on if they’re entering the festival on Thursday.

A Festival Pass is required for every guest entering the Valley of the Seven Stars.

Note: Early Arrival is included with VIP festival passes and on-site lodging packages. If you purchase additional festival passes separately, you will need to buy Early Arrival Add-ons for those passes.

Weekend Parking

The Weekend Parking Pass is for guests parking their vehicle on-site for the duration of the festival. This pass is ideal for anyone camping in the Tent-Only areas, staying with friends who have a campsite, or participating in our on-site lodging programs such as Glamping, Pre-Set Tents, RV Rentals, or Bring Your Own RV, and who have additional vehicles beyond the one (1) parking space included with those accommodations.

This pass grants access to the designated parking area from Friday, October 9th at 8:00 AM until Monday, October 12th at 12:00 PM.

Camping in the Weekend Parking lot is not permitted.

Day Parking

The Day Parking Pass is for guests staying off-site in local accommodations such as hotels or Airbnbs. This pass allows you to drive to and from Seven Stars each day. You’ll park in the designated day parking lot and exit nightly to return to your lodging. Re-entry is permitted each day of the festival with a valid Day Parking Pass and festival wristband.

Please note: Overnight parking and camping are not permitted with this pass. Cars left overnight in this lot will be towed.

Ubers / Taxis

Uber, Lyft, and taxi services may be available from Charlottesville Albemarle Airport, Lynchburg Regional Airport, or Richmond International Airport to the festival site. However, rideshare availability near the festival site is very limited.

We strongly encourage guests to plan transportation in advance and not rely on rideshare services as their primary way to leave the festival. Seven Stars also offers shuttle service to and from both Charlottesville and Richmond airports for guests looking for a more reliable transportation option.

Airport Shuttle Service

Seven Stars offers official round-trip shuttle service from Charlottesville and Richmond airports, with multiple departure times available on Thursday, October 8, Friday, October 9, and Monday, October 12. Shuttles will pick up and drop off near the Main Festival Box Office at Gate 2.

Shuttle passes are available as add-ons during the purchase flow or may also be added later as a post-purchase add-on through your Tixr account, subject to availability.

If you purchase OnTour trip protection through Wanderwell, you may also be eligible to add an optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) upgrade for added flexibility. This upgrade allows reimbursement of up to 75% of nonrefundable payments if you meet eligibility requirements.

• Not available to residents of New York or Washington state.
